Michelle Beatty
Upper School Principal

Michelle Beatty serves as Upper School Principal (Grades 7-12) and as Director of Academic Advancement at Atlantic Christian Academy.

Mrs. Beatty received her BA in Elementary Education from Warner University and her MS in Education from Nova Southeastern University.  Michelle has been an educator on this campus since 2004. During that time she served as a science teacher for grades 4-9, Science Chair, Middle School Team Leader, Upper School Assistant Principal and Academic Advisor, as well as Lower School Principal. She holds dual principal certifications from FACCS (Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools) and ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International).

“A Christian education is an invaluable gift parents can give to their children. The years a child will spend at our school are instrumental in developing not only the mind of a young person, but the heart as well.”

Michelle believes Christian education provides the unique opportunity for students to learn foundational academic concepts taught from a biblical worldview.  Her goal is that students will graduate equipped with an understanding of God’s truth, a deeper relationship with Christ, and a heart ready to serve and fulfill God’s call on their life.

“At Atlantic Christian Academy, our students are loved and nurtured by their teachers who see the God-given potential in each and every student. God has made each child unique so it is a joy for us, as educators, to help students discover the gifts and talents God has given them to serve and glorify Him.”

Michelle and her husband Brian have two daughters who attend school at ACA. They see firsthand the positive impact Christian education has on their children.

“We are so thankful for the strong academic program, the opportunities our girls have to try new things like the many sports or club offerings, and the confidence they develop from being a part of the Fine Arts productions. The Bible classes, chapels, and small groups deepen their relationship with the Lord and are building a strong foundation they will carry with them as they grow into young adults.”

As a family they enjoy traveling, playing board games, watching old episodes of I Love Lucy, attending church on Sundays, and taking their dog, Faith, to the dog park.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
