ACA’s class trips provide opportunities for students to grow spiritually, academically, and socially.

Local field trips start at the kindergarten level, visiting places such as Loggerhead Marine Life Center, Bedner’s Farm, the Solid Waste Authority, the Palm Beach Zoo, Schoolhouse Museum, and Lion Country Safari. Students enjoy the time of fellowship together, creatively learning about God’s amazing creation outside the walls of the classroom.

Grade 3 students blast off to the Kennedy Space Center, where they enjoy a day of adventure, exploring what it’s like to be in space and gaining an appreciation for our country’s space program.

In Grade 4 students have an amazing day trip to Florida’s oldest city, St. Augustine. This trip brings academics to life with hands-on experiences and historic landmark tours, exploring the oldest city in Florida, and re-enforces what students have studied about Florida history in the classroom. Friendships are strengthened and memories are made by all!

Students in Grade 5 look forward to a day at Epcot, where they enhance their understanding of world geography and gain an appreciation for cultural diversity.

Grade 6 enjoys an overnight trip to SeaWorld and Aquatica, where the students experience an exciting time of exploration and education! After a fun day of fellowship in the waterpark, students have the unique opportunity to sleep inside one of the SeaWorld animal habitats! What an unforgettable time!

Grade 7 experiences local field trips that enhance their academic studies, as well as a one day trip to Magic Kingdom where they have time fellowshiping and building friendships.

Students in Grade 8 have an overnight, year-end trip to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, learning about wildlife and the physics of roller-coasters.  As the students look forward to entering their high school years together, this get-away is a time of class bonding and celebration!

In High School, we place a high importance and focus on providing experiences where our students can grow spiritually, academically, and socially while strengthening their relationships with one another as they deepen their relationship with Jesus. Students in Grade 9 start out the year with an overnight retreat to Camp Impact. This trip is an incredible opportunity for our freshman class to start out their year in a memorable and impactful way, as they bond together as a class while continuing to build a solid spiritual foundation. Students in Grades 10 and 11 will participate in a day retreat, local trips that enhance their academics, as well as a day trip to a theme park for class-bonding and fellowship.

Our seniors start off the year as they take part in the long-awaited retreat to the beautiful mountains of Tennessee, where they enjoy the change of seasons, cooler weather, s’mores, and campfires. With a focus on drawing closer to one another and deepening their relationship with the Lord, this trip plays a pivotal role in the lives of our senior class as a whole. Team building games and activities fill the exciting itinerary, including a high ropes course and white water rafting on the Ocoee River. This trip’s impact on our senior class is immeasurable!

Our High School Mission Trip has proven to be a highlight in the ACA experience.  We have sent student missionaries to Ensenada, Mexico, and Nassau, Bahamas to “Know God and Make Him Known”, both in the lives of our students and those whom they go to serve. These mission trips are a pivotal time for students to take true ownership of their faith and share it tangibly with other nations through service, interaction, and testimonies.  International mission trips provide our students an opportunity to experience environments that teach, stretch, and challenge them to love and serve, and to reach the world for Christ. Whether it is building a house for a less fortunate family in Mexico, or doing a work project at a camp for those who are terminally ill in the Bahamas, our students will have a life-changing experience!  As they are able to connect with kids through outreach programs and share the gospel, it also strengthens their faith and their own walk with the Lord. Mission trips support biblical principles taught in the classroom, chapels, and small groups. We place a high value on this experience and encourage every one of our high school students to be a part!
