Mark Davis
President

Pastor Mark Davis serves as the President of Atlantic Christian Academy. His primary role is to provide spiritual, strategic, and financial leadership for the development of the school. Mark and his wife Karen are passionate about Christian education and have raised all three of their children in Christian education.

Mark spent 25 years serving as executive pastor of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, and was also the founder and leader overseeing the development of Calvary Christian Academy, one of the largest Christian schools in the country.  During his time there he had the privilege to serve with an incredible team as that ministry grew to a premier school with more than 300 staff and over 1750 students. He also led the effort to develop 4KIDS of South Florida and served as Chairman of the Board as it grew to be one of the largest Christian Foster Care agencies in the state.

Pastor Mark served as a member of the Standards Committee of the Evangelical Counsel for Financial Accountability and on the National Commission on Religious Policy and Accountability for ECFA. He has served in leadership positions on the Board of the National Christian Community Foundation of South Florida, and as Chairman of the Boards for both Sheridan House Family Ministries and His Caring Place. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Taylor University in Indiana, which is a top rated Christian liberal arts university. Pastor Mark has consulted with numerous schools and ministries over the past thirty years. He has been involved in multiple areas of Christian service including strategic planning, team development, finance and accounting, board governance, and ministry leadership for churches, schools, and para-church ministries.

Mark accepted the Lord in 1980 while studying business at FAU. His graduate education includes an emphasis in leadership, accounting, real estate and finance. He has been married to his wife Karen for over 35 years.
